As dynamic spectrum access comes of age, the Dynamic Spectrum Alliance invites you to attend its third annual Global Summit taking place in Manila, Philippines on May 6-8. 2015’s Summit will take place in the Philippines, Southeast Asia, where the majority of the unconnected are located, encapsulating countries such as Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh and Indonesia. With an emphasis on the exploration of dynamic spectrum access technologies, business models and regulations, the Summit will bring together experts with first-hand experience to discuss, debate, and demonstrate how dynamic spectrum access technologies can help governments, businesses, and communities reduce the cost of wireless bandwidth and deliver affordable access in the busiest cities and most remote regions. The Summit will place a spotlight on the work that is already underway in Asia and will incorporate updates from Dynamic Spectrum Alliance members, including MediaTek, Broadcom, NICT, Broadcom, TENET, SpectraLink Wireless, Facebook and more.

SCHEDULE

May 6: Arrival and Private Meetings; Evening Reception, 7:00pm-9:00pm (open to all attendees).

May 7: Keynotes, an introduction to dynamic spectrum access and TV White Spaces, an introduction to dynamic spectrum access model rules and rulemaking, state of TVWS technologies and host-sponsored dinner.

May 8: Keynotes, plenary discussion with regulators, innovative spectrum use cases and alternative licensing/regulatory models, the future of dynamic spectrum access beyond Super WiFi, affordable/accessible broadband, case studies in increasing digital and social inclusion in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.


HOTEL RESERVATIONS

The group room block is at The Peninsula Manila. To receive the group sleeping room rate of PHP 7,500 for a Superior Room or PHP 8,500 for a Deluxe Room plus tax per night (includes breakfast and complimentary guestroom internet) attendees should make reservations by completing this form. Room types are on a first come, first serve basis.

Nationals of countries which have diplomatic relations with the Philippines are generally allowed entry into the country without securing a temporary visitor’s visa from the Consulate if their stay does not exceed thirty (30) days.
